3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR Article 6)
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): account creation and management, CV generation and tailoring, application tracking, grad network participation — these are the core service and cannot be opted out of without terminating the account.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): fraud prevention, service security, product improvement analytics (where cookie consent is given).
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): analytics cookies (MS Clarity), marketing emails — both are optional and can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Automated processing disclosure (GDPR Article 22)
Proyo uses OpenAI's API to automatically process your CV content to generate tailored CVs and cover letters. This constitutes automated processing of personal data. No solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about you — a human (you) reviews and controls all output before use. You may opt out of AI-assisted features by not using them; core application tracking does not use AI.
5. Who we share your data with (processors)
We do not sell your data. We share data with the following processors, each under a data processing agreement or the provider's equivalent data-protection terms:

7. Your rights (GDPR Chapter III)
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Erasure (Art. 17): request account and data deletion (email hello@proyo.app)
- Portability (Art. 20): receive your data in machine-readable format
- Objection (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Restriction (Art. 18): request we limit processing in certain circumstances

8. Supervisory authority
If you are located in Germany or the EU and believe we have not handled your data lawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For Germany: Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI), www.bfdi.bund.de. For Turkey: Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu (KVKK), www.kvkk.gov.tr.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the service to function. Analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity) are only set if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. Proyo also uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure aggregate traffic and page performance without setting cookies and without tracking you across other sites.

- Teknik: IP adresi, tarayıcı bilgisi, oturum verileri
2. Kişisel Verilerin İşlenme Amaçları ve Hukuki Dayanakları
a) Sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifası (KVKK m.5/2-c): hesap oluşturma ve yönetimi, CV oluşturma, kişiselleştirme ve yapay zeka destekli düzenleme, iş başvurusu takibi, mezun ağı hizmetleri.
b) Veri sorumlusunun meşru menfaati (KVKK m.5/2-f): hizmet güvenliği ve dolandırıcılık önleme, teknik log yönetimi.
c) Açık rıza (KVKK m.5/1): analitik çerezler (Microsoft Clarity), pazarlama e-postaları, kişisel verilerin yurt dışına aktarımı (KVKK m.9).
3. Kişisel Verilerin Aktarıldığı Taraflar ve Yurt Dışı Aktarım
Verileriniz aşağıdaki alıcılara aktarılmaktadır:
- Supabase (AB — AWS Frankfurt) — kimlik doğrulama ve veritabanı hizmetleri
- Cloudflare (ABD/AB) — altyapı ve edge computing hizmetleri
- Vercel (ABD/AB) — uygulama barındırma, performans ve trafik analitiği
- OpenAI (ABD) — yapay zeka destekli CV işleme hizmetleri
- Stripe (ABD) — ödeme hizmetleri

Yukarıda belirtilen alıcıların bir kısmı yurt dışında yerleşiktir ve kişisel verileriniz bu kapsamda yurt dışına aktarılmaktadır. Bu aktarımın KVKK m.9 uyarınca hangi hukuki mekanizmaya dayandırılacağı henüz kesinleştirilmemiştir; ilgili mekanizma belirlendiğinde bu bölüm güncellenecek ve değişiklik tarafınıza bildirilecektir. Bu konudaki sorularınız için hello@proyo.app adresine yazabilirsiniz.
4. Otomatik İşleme Bildirimi
Proyo, CV içeriğinizi işlemek ve kişiselleştirilmiş CV ve ön yazılar oluşturmak için OpenAI API'sini kullanmaktadır. Bu işlem, kişisel verilerinizin otomatik olarak işlenmesini kapsamaktadır. Hakkınızda yalnızca otomatik işlemeye dayalı, hukuki sonuç doğuran veya sizi önemli ölçüde etkileyen hiçbir karar alınmamaktadır.
5. Kişisel Verilerin Saklanma Süresi
- Aktif hesap: hesabın aktif olduğu süre boyunca
- Hesap silme talebi: talepten itibaren 30 gün içinde tüm veriler silinir
- Ödeme kayıtları: yasal zorunluluk gereği 7 yıl
- Rıza kayıtları: denetim amaçlı 3 yıl
6. KVKK m.11 Kapsamındaki Haklarınız
Kişisel verileriniz bakımından aşağıdaki haklara sahipsiniz:
- Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme
- İşlenmiş ise buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme
- İşlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme
- Yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme
- Eksik veya yanlış işlenmesi hâlinde bunların düzeltilmesini isteme
- KVKK m.7'de öngörülen şartlar çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme
- Düzeltme ve silme işlemlerinin aktarılan üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme
- İşlenen verilerin münhasıran otomatik sistemler vasıtasıyla analiz edilmesi suretiyle aleyhinize bir sonucun ortaya çıkmasına itiraz etme
- Kanuna aykırı olarak işlenmesi sebebiyle zarara uğramanız hâlinde zararın giderilmesini talep etme
