Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Proyo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and proyoproject LLC (Wyoming, USA).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Proyo. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. Proyo is not directed at minors.
3. The Service
Proyo provides: AI-assisted CV creation and tailoring, job application tracking, a grad professional network, and related career tools. Features are subject to change. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must not share your account or use another person's account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We may suspend accounts that provide false information.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from Proyo
- Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
- Upload another person's personal data (including their CV) without their explicit consent
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
- Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law
6. Your Content and Licence
You retain full ownership of any CV content, application data, or other material you upload to Proyo (“Your Content”). By uploading Your Content, you grant proyoproject LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence terminates when you delete your account.
7. AI Processing
Proyo uses AI (OpenAI API) to process your CV content and generate tailored documents. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors and you are solely responsible for reviewing any output before use. Proyo makes no warranty as to the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
8. Grad Network
By joining the grad network you consent to your profile (name, university, company, role, and profile photo) being visible to other registered Proyo users. Your work email address is used for verification purposes only and is never displayed to other users. You may leave the grad network at any time via Settings, which will remove your profile from the directory.
9. Subscription and Payment
Free tier access is subject to usage limits which may change. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. All fees are stated at point of purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until that date. No refunds are issued for partial periods except where required by applicable law. For Turkish users, your statutory rights under Turkish consumer law remain unaffected.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings or by emailing hello@proyo.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, proyoproject LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, you agree to first contact us at hello@proyo.app to attempt informal resolution. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in Turkey, mandatory provisions of Turkish consumer protection law apply and cannot be waived by contract. For users in the EU, mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence apply.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, or acts of government.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you by email or prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
