CV examples for internship, MT and graduate applications (with real accepted CVs, 2026)
Short answer · September 2026
The best CV example is the CV of someone who was actually accepted into the programme you want; a template only shows a format, while an accepted CV shows what got through that company's screening. Proyo's Grad Network (Mezun Ağı) holds the CVs hired graduates were accepted with; Proyo graduates work at companies including Borusan Cat, Doğuş Teknoloji, Eaton, the European Patent Office, Fresenius Medical Care, ICON, Rabobank and Related Digital. Those CVs open with a free Proyo account. Below are example skeletons for an internship CV, an MT CV, a no-experience graduate CV and an English CV, plus what strong CVs have in common. Tailoring your own CV to each posting and making it ATS-friendly takes 15–20 seconds in Proyo.
Why an accepted CV beats a template
Most "CV examples" online are templates: an empty layout with invented content. A template shows you what a CV looks like, not whether it works.
An accepted CV tells you something else: this document got through a specific company's applicant tracking system, a recruiter's few-second first look and the stages after that, for a specific programme. If you are applying to the same programme, seeing which experience was brought forward, how projects were described and how long the document was tells you more than any template can.
What's in Proyo's Grad Network
The Grad Network is where graduates who got hired using Proyo share the CVs they were accepted with:
- Real, accepted CVs: Not invented examples — the document the accepted person actually used.
- Verified workplaces: Graduates verify where they work.
- Privacy: Contact details are never shown.
- Companies: Proyo graduates work at companies including Borusan Cat, Doğuş Teknoloji, Eaton, the European Patent Office, Fresenius Medical Care, ICON, Rabobank and Related Digital.
The Grad Network opens with a free Proyo account. When you look at a posting on your application board, you also see Proyo graduates from the same university, the same company or a similar role, where there is a match.
What strong internship and graduate CVs have in common
Look for these when you read CVs in the Grad Network — they are also what hiring research and career centres emphasise:
- A simple, single-column layout. In Ladders' eye-tracking study, recruiters spent an average of 7.4 seconds on an initial CV screen; simple layouts with clear sections and headings did well, multi-column and cluttered ones did poorly.
- Accomplishment statements with numbers. Harvard's resume guide recommends accomplishment statements with measurable results rather than lists of duties: not "prepared the club's sponsorship pack" but "grew the club budget 40% with 3 new sponsors".
- Ordered for the posting. The most relevant experience goes first. Rather than sending the same CV everywhere, change what leads for each posting.
- Text an ATS can read. 97.8% of Fortune 500 companies use an applicant tracking system. Use standard headings ("Experience", "Education", "Skills"), selectable text, and keywords that match the posting and are backed by your experience.
- Usually one page. One page is the common expectation for students and new graduates.
Example CV skeletons (illustrative)
The skeletons below are illustrative and do not belong to a real person; they show layout and bullet writing. The real, accepted CVs are in the Grad Network.
Internship CV example (second year, industrial engineering)
- Summary: Second-year industrial engineering student interested in data analysis and process improvement, looking for a summer internship.
- Education: University, degree, expected graduation year, GPA (if strong).
- Projects: "Built a simulation model of queueing at the campus cafeteria; the proposed till layout cut modelled waiting time by 18%."
- Clubs and volunteering: "Ran logistics for the industrial engineering club's 120-person career day."
- Skills: Excel, Python (basic), SQL (basic); English (B2).
MT application CV example (final year, business)
- Summary: Final-year business student with two internships in sales and marketing, looking for a rotational MT programme.
- Experience: "During a long-term internship, turned regional sales data into a weekly report that became standard in team meetings."
- Leadership: "As club president, organised 8 events a year with a 30-person team."
- Education, skills, languages.
No-experience graduate CV example
- Summary: With no work experience, lead with your three strongest things: final-year project, an internship or club role, and one skill.
- A projects section stands in for experience: Describe the final-year project like a job — the problem, what you did, the result.
- Certificates and courses: Only the relevant ones.
English CV example (for international programmes)
- English headings: Summary, Education, Experience, Projects, Skills, Languages.
- Date and grade formats suited to the target country; most international applications don't expect a photo or date of birth.
- Example bullet: "Built a Python script that automated weekly inventory reports, saving the team about 3 hours a week."
From an accepted CV to yours: four steps in Proyo
- Build your base CV: by chatting, or by uploading your existing CV. What's parsed from an upload never overwrites what you typed yourself.
- Read the Grad Network: look at CVs accepted into the programme you want.
- Pick a posting: from Proyo's feed, from LinkedIn with one click through the Chrome extension, or by pasting a link.
- Tailor: the AI rearranges your CV for that posting in 15–20 seconds and makes it ATS-friendly — single column, selectable text, standard headings, the posting's own wording where your CV supports it. It never adds anything that isn't in your CV, and you decide what stays.
For each new application you repeat steps 3 and 4; every posting gets its own CV, with no extra effort.

Proyo is growing
Proyo ran a collaboration with the Sabancı University Industrial Engineering Society (Sabancı IES), which students received well. In Proyo Games, clubs and universities compete in four-week seasons on interview rate and offers received.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I see real accepted CV examples?
Proyo's Grad Network (Mezun Ağı) holds the CVs hired graduates were accepted with. Graduates verify where they work and contact details are never shown. The Grad Network opens with a free Proyo account.
How do I write a CV for an internship?
An internship CV is usually one page, covering education, projects, club and volunteering experience, and skills. Write each bullet as an accomplishment that shows a result, bring the experience most relevant to the posting to the top, and use a single-column layout an ATS can read. Proyo does this tailoring for each posting in 15–20 seconds.
What do I put on a CV with no experience?
Without work experience, lead with your final-year project, course projects, club roles, volunteering, certificates and skills. Describe projects like work experience: what the problem was, what you did, and what the result was.
Should my CV have a photo?
Photos are common on CVs in Turkey but not required; most international applications don't expect one. Proyo's Profile template has an optional photo field; the other templates have none.
How do I make my CV ATS-friendly?
Use a single-column layout, selectable text, standard section headings, and keywords that match the posting and are backed by your experience; avoid tables, icons and text inside images. Proyo prepares every tailored CV to these rules.
