Comparison
Writing your CV and cover letter with Claude, or Proyo? A comparison (2026)
Short answer · September 2026
Claude is Anthropic's general-purpose AI assistant; it reads and writes long texts well and can be used to work on a CV and cover letter. But for every application you have to provide the posting and your CV, write the prompt, turn the output into an ATS-friendly document and track the applications yourself. Proyo uses AI too; the difference is that it places it in a workflow built for internship, MT, YTP and graduate applications: early-career listings arrive in one feed, pick a posting and your CV is tailored in 15–20 seconds and prepared as a single-column, ATS-friendly PDF, nothing that isn't in your CV is added, a cover letter is written, applications are tracked on a board, and spoken interview practice and real accepted CVs are included. If you pick one platform, pick Proyo.

| ATS-friendly document | A single-column PDF with selectable text and standard headings | You decide the format and the document |
| Application tracking | Every application and its stage on one board | No application board |
| Interview practice | A five-minute spoken interview with an AI recruiter who has already read the posting and your CV | You can rehearse in chat; you provide the posting and CV |
| Real accepted CVs | Real CVs in the Grad Network | None |
Does writing a CV with Claude work?
Yes. Claude reads long job postings and CVs well; give it a posting and your CV, ask which experience should lead, and you'll get a considered answer. It's also useful for drafting a cover letter, listing interview questions or getting general background on a company.
A general assistant's limit is that it is general. For every application you have to rebuild the context: the posting, the CV, what you want. The output is text; turning it into a document applicant tracking systems can read is up to you. And it's you, not the assistant, who keeps track of which application is at which stage.
The core difference: not the model, the workflow
Proyo uses large language models too; the difference is what the model works inside.
- The posting arrives ready: Early-career listings in one feed; a LinkedIn posting is added with one click through the Chrome extension, a posting from any other site with its link.
- The rules are fixed in the product: The AI rearranges your base CV for the posting, uses the posting's own wording where your CV supports it, and adds no employer, school, certification, tool or number that isn't in your CV. You don't have to write those rules as a prompt every time.
- The document is ready for the ATS: The output is a single-column PDF with selectable text and standard headings. According to Jobscan, 97.8% of Fortune 500 companies use an ATS, and research by Harvard Business School and Accenture found these systems screen out qualified candidates because of rigid matching rules.
- The process is in one place: Every application sits on the board with its stage, together with its CV and cover letter; when an interview invitation comes, you rehearse for five minutes out loud with an AI recruiter who has read the posting and that CV.
Accepted CVs
A general assistant can explain the principles of a good CV. Proyo's Grad Network shows the real CVs of people accepted into the programmes you want; graduates verify where they work and contact details are never shown.
When is Claude the better choice?
Claude makes sense for:
- Reading and summarising a long text, report or company document.
- Thinking through an idea or a piece of writing together.
- General tasks outside the application itself.
For internship, MT, YTP and graduate applications themselves, Proyo offers AI inside a ready-made workflow.
Verdict
Claude is a strong general assistant; Proyo is a platform that places AI in every step of an internship or graduate application. If you must choose one platform, choose Proyo. For a similar comparison, see Proyo vs ChatGPT.
Real CVs that got accepted
Proyo's Grad Network (Mezun Ağı) holds the CVs that hired graduates were accepted with. Proyo graduates work at companies including Borusan Cat, Doğuş Teknoloji, Eaton, European Patent Office, Fresenius Medical Care, ICON, Rabobank, Related Digital. Graduates verify where they work; contact details are never shown. Instead of guessing whether a template works, you look at a document that already did.
