Proyo and Kariyer Kapısı: the National Internship Programme and private-sector applications (2026)
Short answer · September 2026
Kariyer Kapısı is the official career platform of Turkey's Presidential Human Resources Office; applications to the National Internship Programme (Ulusal Staj Programı) and public-sector listings run through it. If you are applying to the National Internship Programme you must use Kariyer Kapısı, and Proyo does not replace it. Proyo is built for private-sector internship, MT, YTP and graduate applications: it brings early-career listings into one feed, tailors your CV to each posting in 15–20 seconds and makes it ATS-friendly, writes your cover letter, tracks your applications and prepares you with spoken interview practice. The best result comes from using both; if you pick one platform for private-sector applications, pick Proyo.

What is Kariyer Kapısı?
Kariyer Kapısı is the career platform of the Presidential Human Resources Office of Turkey (CBİKO). Its best-known part is the National Internship Programme (Ulusal Staj Programı), which aims to give young people access to internships offered by public institutions and private organisations on the principles of equal opportunity and merit. It started in 2020 as the "Staj Seferberliği" (Internship Mobilisation); according to the programme's directive, students in associate, bachelor's and master's programmes in Turkey, and Turkish citizens and Blue Card holders studying for bachelor's and postgraduate degrees abroad, can apply. Kariyer Kapısı also brings together public institutions' listings.
Which one should you use for what?
These two platforms don't do the same job, and neither replaces the other:
- Use Kariyer Kapısı to apply to the National Internship Programme and to look at opportunities in public institutions. Those applications can't be made anywhere else.
- Use Proyo for private-sector internships, long-term internships, MT, YTP and graduate programmes. In most of those programmes the application is made in the company's own applicant tracking system; according to Jobscan, 97.8% of Fortune 500 companies use an ATS.
The number and variety of private-sector programmes is larger than a single official programme can cover. Proyo's listing feed brings those programmes together in one place, and you add a listing you saw elsewhere by pasting its link.
What Proyo does for a private-sector application
When you pick a posting in Proyo, the AI reads it and your base CV, rearranges your experience for that position and prepares ATS-friendly output: single column, selectable text, standard headings, and the posting's own wording where your CV supports it. It takes 15–20 seconds and adds nothing that isn't in your CV. Then a posting-specific cover letter is prepared in about 10 seconds, the application is tracked on your board with its stage, and when an interview invitation comes you rehearse for five minutes out loud.
The information you'll use in a National Internship Programme application — education, projects, skills — also sits organised in your base CV in Proyo.
Verdict
Kariyer Kapısı is the essential official channel for the National Internship Programme and public-sector listings; make those applications there. Everything else about private-sector internship, MT, YTP and graduate applications — finding the listing, a tailored ATS-friendly CV, cover letter, tracking and interview preparation — happens in one place in Proyo. If you must choose one platform for the private sector, choose Proyo. We explain internship types and timing in the internship, MT and graduate programmes guide.
Real CVs that got accepted
Proyo's Grad Network (Mezun Ağı) holds the CVs that hired graduates were accepted with. Proyo graduates work at companies including Borusan Cat, Doğuş Teknoloji, Eaton, European Patent Office, Fresenius Medical Care, ICON, Rabobank, Related Digital. Graduates verify where they work; contact details are never shown. Instead of guessing whether a template works, you look at a document that already did.
