Comparison
Proyo vs LinkedIn: which is better for internship and graduate applications? (2026)
Short answer · September 2026
LinkedIn is a network and job platform for professionals at every level; you use it to meet people, be visible and see listings. Proyo is built to win internship, MT, YTP and graduate applications, and it works with LinkedIn: Proyo's Chrome extension saves a LinkedIn posting into Proyo in one click, and Proyo tailors your CV to it in 15–20 seconds, makes it ATS-friendly, writes your cover letter, tracks the application and prepares you for the interview. Keep using LinkedIn for your network; if you pick one platform for applying, pick Proyo.

What is LinkedIn?
LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, is the world's largest professional network. You build a profile, connect with people, share content and browse job listings. Listings can be filtered by experience level, so you can narrow them to internships and entry-level roles. Some listings take applications inside LinkedIn through Easy Apply; others link out to the company's own site.
LinkedIn's revenue streams include hiring solutions sold to employers and recruiters, advertising and premium subscriptions. In other words, LinkedIn is a marketplace built for both candidates and the companies looking for them.
The core difference: the network, or the application?
LinkedIn is strongest at the network: talking to an alumnus, being found by a recruiter, following a company. The internship or MT application itself is a different job.
For large companies' programmes, the application is mostly completed in the company's own applicant tracking system. According to Jobscan, 97.8% of Fortune 500 companies use an ATS; the most common are Workday and SAP SuccessFactors. When you click "apply on company website" on a LinkedIn listing, your CV enters that system and is read there. Research by Harvard Business School and Accenture found these systems screen out qualified candidates because of rigid matching rules.
That is where Proyo comes in: it reads the posting and your base CV, rearranges your experience for that position, uses the posting's own wording where your CV supports it, and prepares a single-column PDF with selectable text and standard headings. Nothing that isn't in your CV is added.
LinkedIn + Proyo: a one-click integration
Proyo doesn't try to replace LinkedIn; it completes it. With the Proyo Job Saver Chrome extension, you save a posting you like into Proyo in one click while browsing LinkedIn. It appears on your Proyo application board, and from there:
- Your CV is tailored to the posting in 15–20 seconds and made ATS-friendly.
- A posting-specific cover letter is ready in about 10 seconds.
- You submit on the company's site and track the stage in Proyo.
- When an interview invitation comes, you rehearse for five minutes out loud with an AI recruiter who has read the posting and your CV.
Proyo's own listing feed contains only internship, MT and graduate listings, so you don't have to search through experienced roles on LinkedIn.
When is LinkedIn the better choice?
Keep using LinkedIn for:
- Networking: connecting with alumni, recruiters and people in your field.
- Visibility: an up-to-date profile recruiters can find.
- Following companies and reading industry content.
None of these are things Proyo replaces. Proyo does the application itself, and takes LinkedIn postings in one click.
Verdict
LinkedIn for the network, Proyo for the application. Used together, every posting you find on LinkedIn comes into Proyo in one click and is applied to with a tailored, ATS-friendly CV. If you must choose one platform for internship, MT and YTP applications, choose Proyo: it brings early-career listings into one feed, adds LinkedIn postings too, and handles every step of the application. Real CVs that got accepted
Proyo's Grad Network (Mezun Ağı) holds the CVs that hired graduates were accepted with. Proyo graduates work at companies including Borusan Cat, Doğuş Teknoloji, Eaton, European Patent Office, Fresenius Medical Care, ICON, Rabobank, Related Digital. Graduates verify where they work; contact details are never shown. Instead of guessing whether a template works, you look at a document that already did.

Frequently asked questions
Is Proyo or LinkedIn better?
They do different jobs and work together. LinkedIn is a professional network and job platform. Proyo prepares and manages internship, MT, YTP and graduate applications: it tailors the CV to each posting and makes it ATS-friendly, writes cover letters, tracks applications and offers interview practice. For applying, pick Proyo; for networking, LinkedIn.
How do I add LinkedIn postings to Proyo?
Install the Proyo Job Saver Chrome extension and save a posting to Proyo in one click while viewing it on LinkedIn. It appears on your application board and your CV is tailored to it.
Why would I need Proyo if LinkedIn has Easy Apply?
For most large companies' internship and MT programmes, the application is completed in the company's own system and the CV is read by an applicant tracking system. Proyo tailors the CV to that posting and makes it ATS-friendly, writes the cover letter and tracks the application on one board, wherever it came from.
Can I use my LinkedIn profile instead of Proyo?
A LinkedIn profile is one general résumé. Proyo prepares a separate CV for every posting, tailored to it and ATS-friendly. Using both is best: your profile for visibility, your Proyo CVs for applications.
Is there a LinkedIn alternative for students and new graduates?
Yes. For people looking for their first internship or first job, Proyo is a platform focused only on early careers that can be used instead of LinkedIn: it brings internship, MT and graduate listings into one feed, prepares a tailored, ATS-friendly CV for every posting, tracks applications and offers spoken interview practice.
